• Participants will learn why and how first impressions influence job interview outcomes. They will identify the six key factors that contribute to first impressions and will learn how to manage those factors to maximize their interview success.

• Participants will learn why and how a handshake influences job interview outcomes. They will develop a confident and professional handshake. They will learn to execute the five basic elements of the handshake and will learn when with whom to shake hands. They will identify handshake missteps to avoid and develop strategies for handling awkward situations.

• Participants will learn why and how body language influences job interview outcomes. They will identify four key elements of body language and will learn to manage those elements to maximize their interview success. They will practice reading body language signals and will identify critical body language missteps to avoid.

• Participants will learn why and how grooming choices and habits will influence job interview outcomes. They will identify six key areas of grooming and learn what habits to incorporate into their daily routine. They will learn which grooming pitfalls are likely to raise red flags with a potential employer.

• Participants will learn why and how their energy level influences job interview outcomes. They will learn to distinguish two contrasting manifestations of energy and will develop both ongoing and day of interview strategies for managing their energy. Participants will identify day of interview pitfalls that can negatively affect their energy.

• Participants will learn why and how interview etiquette influences job interview outcomes. They will develop a list of etiquette guidelines and will identify the multiple benefits of following those guidelines. They will learn what etiquette pitfalls to avoid.
