Young Ambassadors for Peace have shown a commitment to service and peace-making activities in many fields, including religion, politics, media, academia, business, the arts, sports, and volunteer associations. They are contributing both within their chosen sphere of influence as well as in collaboration with international peace builders in service and relief projects, such as building schools, digging wells, and renovating communities and sponsoring dialogue in conflict areas. Recognition as a Young Ambassador for Peace is not an acknowledgment of past achievements, but rather an appointment or a commission to assume new, often more broad-minded responsibility toward achieving the goal of creating a world of peace.
These five principles provide the grounds for the inter-religious and cross-cultural collaboration that are needed to address contemporary conflicts, often rooted in ethnic and religious identity.
We welcome your interest in becoming a Young Ambassador for Peace. If you would like to join the growing numbers of young professionals who are committing their energies and expertise to the cause of peace, please fill our our online application.
